Chapter Chartering
The Pine Bluff Chapter, The Links, Incorporated was chartered on May 17, 1969 by Link Evelyn Harper, an officer of the Central Area of The Links, Incorporated. Link Mallye T. Russell was the organizer and leader of the charter group. Link Gwendolyn Floyd, President of the Little Rock Chapter (the sponsoring chapter) assisted Link Harper in the chartering ceremony. Other members of the Little Rock and Memphis chapters were in attendance.
Since May 1969, the chapter has sponsored numerous programs and activities that have had a very positive impact on the Pine Bluff community and its citizens, as well as on the educational, medical, and social needs of people in developing countries, especially from the African continent.
